Casino/Resort experienced Vice President and General Manager – Caribbean
An integrated luxury resort and casino complex in the Caribbean seeks an exceptionally experienced and personable Vice President & General Manager with casino experience for one of their 800+ rooms resort.
The VP/General Manager must have solid background and experience in Rooms, Housekeeping, Public Spaces, and at the same time have some experience in Food & Beverage.
Opening and renovation experience would be of great advantage, as the company is expecting major renovations and additions in the near future.
Must have stability in current and previous employments. No Job Hoppers will be considered!
Caribbean experience is mandatory, as well as luxury 5 star hotel and casino experience. The chosen candidate will have minimum 5 years of experience as a General Manager in a large casino/resort or hotel.
You will be responsible for the overall success of the Resort, meeting or exceeding planned objectives for revenue and profit, and ensuring guest satisfaction and product quality standards are met. Manage all areas of the resort in accordance with brand standards to achieve a friendly atmosphere of superior guest service and product quality. Maximize revenue, take proactive approaches and perform hands-on duties as needed to deliver guest services.
Caribbean experience is mandatory.
Opening or renovation experience is preferred.
Luxury 5 star hotel and casino experience is required.
The chosen candidate will have minimum of 5 years’ experience as a General Manager in a hotel with over 800 rooms.
A proven track record with a stable career history.
Extensive experience in Rooms is a must, but this person must also have exposure in other areas of the resort.
Must understand how to take care of VIP guests and be outgoing with a mind host personality.
Demonstrates strong Achievement Orientation, is focused on setting and surpassing standards of excellence and is constantly striving for improvement in a disciplined effective manner.
Has a history of effective Team Leadership accomplishing goals through other’ s efforts.
Post-graduate qualification in business, hospitality industry would be an added advantage.
Salary: US$160, 000 (negotiable) plus all benefits like medical, housing, contributory 401K plan, relocation allowance, etc.
