VP OF INTELLIGENCE & SECURITY – CARRIBBEAN

 

An integrated luxury resort and casino complex in the Caribbean seeks a VP of Intelligence & Security. Reporting to the SVP of Resort Services, this senior security specialist will possess the highest degree of integrity and thoroughness in overseeing and maintaining all corporate security and intelligence operations throughout the entire property.  

 

Responsibilities 

 
  • Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all aspects of day-to-day corporate intelligence & security operations
  • Execution of high level security needs ensuring events/incidents are detected and responded to in adherence to established procedures
  • Develop and implement plans that will evaluate, track and provide for quick response to external security threats
  • Ensure Intelligence & Security operations are consistent with industry best practices and strategies are aligned with the business needs
  • Interact with government agencies on security threats and take lead position on security actions. Oversee executive protection as required
  • Effective communication between security teams and senior management maintaining proper compliance with all policies and standards
  • Work closely with casino, surveillance, hotel operations and public relations management teams
  • Evaluate and provide recommendations to close security gaps and vulnerabilities
  • Create metrics to measure the effectiveness of the strategic security program and implement a system to track and report security issues
  • Conduct and uphold strong investigation standards and meet all regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement a sound corporate crisis communications plan
  • Remain up to date on Corporate Investigation industry trends and regulations

 

Qualifications

 
  • College Degree or MBA in Security Management or related field preferred
  • 10 years+ of security management experience with a major law enforcement, intelligence, public or private sector security organization
  • Experience in the casino/hospitality industry preferred
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills to define risks, identify potential threats, and develop action/mitigation plans.
  • Ability to manage expectations with key stakeholders in conjunction with security team
  • Demonstrate personal integrity, the ability to professionally handle confidential matters and exhibit the appropriate level of judgment and decision making commensurate with the position and responsibilities

 

Compensation

 
  • $200, 000 USD NET, Bonus program, Housing, Relocation, Vehicle Allowance, and Medical
