Our client that owns and operates a first class resort in the Caribbean is urgently seeking a youngish, but highly experienced Hotel Manager who has a solid track record in all aspects of resort operations.
This is a large resort in the islands with an excellent reputation as a first class resort property with over 500 rooms. You will be a crucial key player in this 5* high volume resort that experiences year round high occupancy and will report to the General Manager.
This role is available as the incumbent has been promoted to a General Manager’ s role and you should be ready to be become a General Manager within the next 24 months.
A well rounded background in all departments is a definite asset, with focus on Guest Services, Rooms and Food & Beverage background being highly beneficial. You will be responsible for recommending budgets and manage expenses within approved budget and participate/contribute to at large first class management team.
The individual will be responsible to improve and develop the standards of the performance of the staff related to these areas in an appropriate manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality in the company.
You should have a minimum of 2-4 years of current experience in a very busy and quality Caribbean/island resort setting operation right. Possess good knowledge of local competition and current resort operations and new industry trends.
This is a highly visible role with a great deal of guest contact. This company historically hire only those individuals with a clean and progressive work history (job hoppers will not be accepted)
Salary Package: Up to US$100, 000 plus single accommodation allowance. Excellent company benefits package and progressive career development and growth with this expanding resort organization.
