Top Elite Catering Company seeks Executive Chef

A well established and reputable Catering Company in Washington, DC seeks an Executive Chef to oversee and manage all culinary and pastry aspects of production for its off premise catering, events, corporate and private food delivery orders.  This role includes menu and recipe development with modification options as required for dietary and health requirements, purchasing, staff training and management and food cost control. He/She must also maintain the highest of professional food quality, sustainability practices and adhere to sanitation standards.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 7 to 10 years as an Executive Chef in high quantity and quality venues including elite caterers, catering facilities, private clubs, hotels and resorts with banquet operations;

  • Culinary degree from an accredited institution or certified as an Executive Chef;

  • A broad based culinary background with knowledge of regional and international cuisines plus a working knowledge of current culinary trends and cutting edge cuisines;

  • Ability to manage food production for banquet or catered events for up to  1, 500 guests;

  • Ability to read, write and speak English, proficiently use Microsoft office suite and learn operations management systems.

Salary, bonus and incentive package  is negotiable based on experience.
