Corporate Director of Hotel Marketing / Digital – NYC

 

A luxury American boutique hotel group with award winning properties in North America and Europe, is seeking a Director of Marketing responsible for assisting the VP of Sales & Marketing in support of all sales, marketing, and revenue teams in New York City    

This person must be capable of executing the appropriate leadership, maturity and commercial skills that are reflective of a premier luxury brand.  He/she will be expected to organize all aspects of  marketing to the highest professional standard. 

 

Expectations
  • Identifying trends and supporting execution of corporate and property strategies
  • Expert knowledge of SEO/SEM, social media, Wordpress, Google Analytics, Adobe/Omniture/Creative Cloud, Mircrosoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and HTML
  • Proven strategic thinking with strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and problem solve, ability to identify and use relevant data to positively impact hotel revenues
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing and influence at Property, Brand, Regional and Corporate level
  • Drive web content and email marketing strategy, implementation and ongoing optimization
  • Management of film and photo shoots
  • Oversee Public Relations for Journalists and Influencers
  • Remain up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement

 

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of (5) years’ experience in Leadership position in Marketing
  • Previous Luxury Hotel experience required
  • Revenue management experience and hotel operational experience preferred
  • Obtained a University in Degree Business Administration, Marketing and/or Hospitality
  • Demonstrated sales performance track record and proven management skills
  • Must demonstrate strong managerial and leadership skills
  • Positive and energetic work ethic
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong work ethic and flexibility to travel 

Salary Expectations
  • A strong salary and bonus structure will be negotiated based on the qualifications, experiences and effectiveness of the successful candidate
