Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Serviced Residences Industry – USA / Canada 

We are currently retained to search for a Chief Executive Officer (CEO), with a proven track record as a leader at the serviced residence industry. 

Our client is a respected and well known real estate group, whose profile includes residential (suites), commercial, and technology.  They also represent other service residence owners who seek assistance with their properties revenue.  The CEO must come with hospitality experience in similar residential and commercial properties in USA and/or Canada, or from a travel related reservation portal.  

Ideally, the successful candidate will have significant general hotel management experience, along with demonstrated track record of making capital expenditures with sound decision making skills.  You must possess firsthand experience in leading a progressive organization, providing direction, and making tough decisions. 

As a CEO, you are responsible for every aspect of our client’ s business that includes business development, sales and marketing, technology platforms, operations, finance, human resources and recruitment.  You are responsible for leading a substantial business to growth and profitability.  You will also manage all strategic and day to day operations of the company, while ensuring performance improvement, top and bottom line results, along with teamwork and communication with management and staff. 

Experience in a public organization would be an added benefit, due to company’ s intended future plans. 

Your responsibilities will also include, acquiring business from overseas, developing growth plans to ensure performance of all the properties and the group, identifying key capabilities, along with building and leading your teams to deliver top results.  Periodically review and update Company policies, procedures and standards and ensure that these are being strictly adhered to at all times.    

It is important for the CEO to develop a complete understanding of the organizations vision and positioning for each of the existing business units and thereafter operate and grow these businesses with a strong and shared passion within these parameters.  The CEO must also demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal and motivational skills to maximize his team’ s performance.   

To qualify for this CEO role, you must possess: 

A minimum of 15 years of experience as a senior executive with a proven track record of leading a large hospitality related real estate complex and real estate development projects, or travel related technology business; i.e. OTA.

The vision to achieve business objectives.

Demonstrated ability to articulate a growth strategy, drive performance and motivate his staff to achieve the company’ s targets.

The ability to think short and long term implications to the business.

The ability to find creative ways to solve complex issues.

Credibility to manage the Board of Directors, investment community and the organization.

A successful history as a change agent.  Someone who has delivered results!

Operating expertise in dynamic markets, along with strategic and analytical skills.  A business leader with good relationship skills.

A keen eye for detail and an ability to set an example by personally demonstrating ‘ how things ought to be done’.

Excellent communication skills.

You must currently have work permit for Canada or the USA. 

Compensation is reflective on accomplishments and “ what you can bring to the table”.  You must now be earning in the six (6) figure bracket.
