Our client in the Caribbean, an award winning ultra-luxury resort which has extensive meeting and banqueting space requires an experienced Banquet Manager to help manage a busy Banqueting operation and work in close partnership with the Events and Conference Services Manager and the F&B Department. There are several banqueting events for local and incentive groups, for weddings and special celebrations held on property. The role is pure operations, with a strong customer service focus, driving guest satisfaction and customer service to the highest levels, providing a safe, clean and progressive work environment for the team. Holding individuals at all levels accountable with strong follow up while providing motivation at all levels. The ideal candidate must be service oriented, extremely hands on with the ability to achieve the highest customer satisfaction and quality service.
Key responsibilities:
Operational delivery of all food beverage events i.E. Weddings; Local socials; dinners; meetings and events
Set up service and breakdown of events up to 650 people
Manage a team of Banquet Captains; Porters
Supervise set ups and service; breakdown
Liaise with F&B to ensure adequate rostering for events
Compile time sheets, requisitions and stocktaking in line with Company standards
Assist with Food & Beverage in Outlets in quiet times
Salary Package: Base salary at U$50 - 55K (tax free), plus the Gratuities of approximately US$8000(tax free)and $1, 650 accommodation allowance per month, plus other ex-pat benefits including medical benefits and a relocation allowance
