Our client is one of the largest casino operators across Western Canada, they are seeking the talents of an Executive Chef for one of their casinos in Alberta. This person will be in charge of managing the culinary team for the casino reporting to the general manager.

Background and Requirements:
  • Three years of experience as an Executive Chef, Sous Chef or Restaurant Chef
  • Type of Cuisine: would be defined as contemporary casual dining
  • Red seal certification or equivalent  
  • To perform all the admin duties that come with a management role, including staff management and procurement
  • To oversee culinary operations of one restaurant and support banqueting events for small meetings and private events
  • Food cost control

  • Depending on qualifications and background, the basic salary for this position can range up to $70, 000
  • Bonus and other incentives such as insurance, medical and RSP
