Entertainment/Smerf Sales Manager

Our client is a city Centre, deluxe, mid-sized hotel that are currently searching for an exceptional individual that is a seasoned Entertainment/Smerf Sales Manager who will be handling this market segment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the Entertainment/Smerf account management, with a focus on developing new markets and revenue sources. Develop new company strategies with a focus on maximizing yield management practices with a focus on the Toronto downtown and uptown core marketplace.
This individual’ s main responsibilities will be to successfully and constantly solicit prospective corporate markets. Achieve agreed goals for all quarters targeting the Entertainment/Smerf segment of the marketplace.
Generating budgeted revenues through personal and team selling. Assisting in establishing revenue goals for existing accounts and key prospects. This person will be expected to consistently meet or exceed sales goals, make effective cold calls and aggressively pursue new accounts. Strong phone, prospecting, negotiating and closing skills required.
A sound track record promoting an atmosphere of teamwork along with excellent technical, time management and organizational skills. Good knowledge of computers and is savvy about the ever changing world on the Internet. Excellent customer service orientation and exceptional detail in follow-up and can think creatively and outside the box in identifying new corporate markets.
With your outgoing personality and your " Can Do" attitude, you feel extremely comfortable in consistently calling on new customers, develop new business contacts and getting involved with the local Entertainment business community to develop, sound and long term business relationships.
Our client will be offering a base salary of up to $70, 000 along with an aggressive incentive plan based on attainable goals productivity in their market segment. Also excellent benefit package will be offered.
