Association Sales Manager

Our hotel client in Toronto is urgently currently searching for the talents of an exceptional Association Sales Manager. They are seeking a highly motivated individual to promote and develop new business in Toronto and will be responsible for selling to the National Association, State Association, Government and Not-for-profit market segments.
This position will work directly in conjunction with the Director of Sales and Marketing and the General Manager to develop and achieve property revenue goals. The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial spirit, strong organizational skills and is detail oriented.
The selected candidate that will be chosen will have some or all of the following experience and skills: *Must be a proven closer of volume business with at least a minimum of 3 years of direct selling experience, preferably in the Toronto Association market.
*The ability to identify to present, negotiate, convince, sell and influence buyers, obtain new accounts and to develop client retention programs for existing accounts.
* Excellent verbal and written communication, computer literacy, organizational and time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines and maximize sales goals and revenue are required.
* Detail oriented with a proven track record of progressive performance in your sales career to date. *Experience working in a high end quality 300 to 600 plus room property is a definite asset plus and knows the Canadian association market extremely well.
* Must maintain a strong interpersonal relationships with customers as this will be paramount to be successful in this key sales management position. This position will offer a starting salary in the range of $65, 000 with an excellent chance of obtaining outstanding sales commissions and other benefits for the right individual that can deliver on their outstanding sale abilities and performance. This is for a growing international 5 star hotel organization.
